Dr. Angus Owens was born in 1918, and as a young man worked as a ship welder before entering the United States Navy during WWII. 
Serving on the Pacific island of Saipan, Angus drew cartoons for the Saipan Beacon Navy newspaper and earned an honorary
doctorate from Saipan University.  After the war, Angus enjoyed a long career in advertising, owning several successful businesses,
before retiring to Stockbridge, Georgia, where he now lives with his wife Mary.  Angus would love to hear from you, his email address is below.
